Learning Okinawan traditional karate in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture

Goju-ryu Martial Arts Hall, Hakuba Dojo

The Goju-ryu martial arts dojo preserves the techniques and training methods from the time when Okinawa was still called Ryukyu and karate was known as "Tōte".

The training methods are distinct from modern karate, which has become a sport and a competitive sport, and are based on the teachings of the founder of Goju-ryu, "Mr. Chojun Miyagi".

Our basic principle is "To neither be struck by others nor strike others, and to live without incident," and we train our minds and bodies accordingly.

We provide instruction tailored to each individual's abilities.

It helps you learn proper etiquette, build physical strength, and learn self-defense.
