The building that was once Villa Raicho has changed ownership and been reborn as Pals Inn Raicho, a guesthouse where friends can gather. We aim to be a guesthouse that is loved by all our guests, so we look forward to your visit.

Welcome to Pals Inn Raicho
Pals Inn Raicho took over from the previous owner of Villa Raicho in December 2014 and started anew as "Pals Inn Raicho, a place where friends gather."
Pals Inn Raicho is an accommodation located a 7-minute walk from JR Kamishiro Station, and in winter it serves as a shuttle bus stop for Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, making it very convenient!
The garden features an athletic playground and treehouse handcrafted by the owner, as well as a dynamic Goemon-style bath heated with firewood, making it a facility that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Hakuba Goryu Tourism Association Declares Departure from Amenities
Request for cooperation in bringing your own amenities
In accordance with the "Act on Promotion of Plastic Resource Recycling," member accommodations of the Hakuba Goryu Tourism Association have discontinued providing amenities (e.g., toothbrushes, razors) in guest rooms as part of their efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To reduce plastic waste, we ask our guests to bring their own toothbrushes, razors, etc., and work together with them to promote a plastic-free lifestyle. Disposable toothbrushes are available for purchase at our facility for 50 yen each. We appreciate your cooperation.
- Hakuba Village welcomes 2 million tourists annually. This means 2 million toothbrushes and other toiletries are discarded as waste. Simply bringing your own toothbrush and toiletries will reduce waste by 2 million.
- By reducing linen changes, we aim to reduce the amount of water needed for each room cleaning (approximately 7 liters) and the amount of water needed for linen washing (approximately 14 liters, resulting in 0.07 kg of CO2 emissions).
Also, linen changes are not provided for stays of two nights or more. Guests staying three nights or more who require towel changes should inform the front desk. Please separate your trash and dispose of it in the provided trash cans.

- Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building.
- For security reasons, the front door will be locked at 23:00.
- Check-in: 14:00 - 21:00
- We do not accept check-ins after 9:00 PM.
- If you have made a reservation, please be sure to inform us of your arrival time.
- Check-out time: 9:30
- We can assist with luggage storage before check-in starting at 7:30 AM.
- Entry before 7:30 is not permitted.
importantWe may decline reservations for groups and organizations other than those who have booked the entire facility for their exclusive use, for the following reasons.
- Our inn prioritizes and values guests who want to relax and unwind during their stay in Hakuba, and who wish to rest peacefully at night. We ask that guests be considerate of other guests and avoid disturbing them.
- Running around the guest room floors and, after 10:00 PM, loud conversations, drinking parties, and any other behavior that may disturb other guests are strictly prohibited, as voices can be heard in neighboring rooms.

Group bookings, student club bookings, and private rentals are all welcome!
Pals Inn Raicho has a multi-purpose room of approximately 40 tatami mats that can be used for various purposes such as martial arts, dance, and yoga.
We also offer a private rental plan for groups of 30 or more. Please feel free to contact us regarding group bookings, student club training camps, and other arrangements including 2-meal or 3-meal plans, as well as reservations for nearby gymnasiums.

Goemon Bath
*Reservations are required to use the Goemon bath.
- Hours—4:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Reservations required by the day before.
- Usage Fees—Guests staying at the Pals Inn Raicho Main Building: Free Guests staying in the cottages: ¥3,000 per group
- Please be sure to bring your swimsuit. There is no enclosure.
Cancellation Policy for Goemon Hot Spa Reservations
It takes 5–6 hours to heat the Goemon-buro bath using firewood.
A ¥3,000 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made on the day of the reservation.
Cancellations made by the day before the reservation are free of charge.
Group and private charter plans are also available.

For Guests Staying in the Cottages
- Please come to the front desk at the Raicho Main Building to check in.
- Guests staying in the cottages are generally not permitted to use the main building of Pals Inn Raicho.
- Use of the Goemon-style bath is available for ¥3,000 per group. Please make a reservation by the day before use.
